We have been particularly busy over the last week working on orders and getting ready for our first event of the year.  We would love to see you all at Clutter City's "Bring on Spring" event this weekend!  It is being held at the Norwich Arts Centre in St Benedicts, on Saturday 3rd March from 11am to 4pm.  Entrance is free, so come and give it a look!

Keeping busy...

We have been busy this week, sewing a collection of lavender-scented hares for our Etsy and Folksy shops.  Next on the list are some dachshunds and elephants, then a few lavender mice - after that, maybe even a new design or two?

Will has been creating some more paper art this week, some for our online shops and some for a local gift and antique shop called Hodge Podge, in Hethersett.  This bright, colourful semi bauble has just been listed on Esty and is upcycled from a Clarice Bean children's book.

And here is a peak at the Alice in Wonderland semi bauble Will made earlier in the week...

What have you all been up to this week?  LouLou & Will x

A cosy day in…

Like most of the country, we were at the mercy of the weather this weekend.  We woke on Sunday morning to the sight of a beautiful white blanket of snow which would have been perfect at Christmas but was still breath-taking in February.  With all the usual food sources covered by snow and ice, the tree in our front garden became a buffet for the local bird population and the soggy looking crab apples were suddenly a popular delicacy!

The hen house we keep in the front garden for the ducks that visit us in the Spring was looking very festive but Dolly the campervan was feeling rather sorry for herself.  I’m not sure how she manages to look so sad but she does it well!

Will spent the day creating a new semi bauble in vintage Alice in Wonderland book paper, finished off with a gorgeous gold and black pocket watch button, while I made a vegetarian mince and vegetable pie.

We finished off a lovely cosy day by playing Scrabble in front of a roaring fire – bliss!

Did you have a cosy warm weekend too?  LouLou & Will x

Love is in the air...

With this chilly weather tempting us to stay at home by the fire, thank goodness we have Valentine’s Day just around the corner to warm the cockles of our hearts! We have selected our top ten ways to say “I love you” from the many talented designers on Folksy and Etsy – we believe in saying it with something handmade and unique.

Something special for the lady in your life:

1) What better way to say "I love you" than with something sweet?  These gorgeous cookies are made by Beth at Sunshine Bakes.
2) Jewellery is the classic romantic gift, but how about choosing something a bit more original with this unusual necklace from Paperface Studio?
3) At this time of year, love really is all around!  This beautiful canvas is hand crafted by Peter Stamps of Scripted Craft
4) Say it with ceramic by giving your loved one this delicate little stoneware heart, painstakingly created by Jenny at David Barber Pottery.

Gifts for the gentleman in your life:

1) This vintage style flask is a sure-fire winner for the "hip" man, made to order by Buckaroo's Mercantile.
2) What's not to love about these groovy vinyl cufflinks, individually handmade from old records featuring The Who by When The Music's Over.
3) For the sartorially-minded man, this elegant silk tie is hand screen printed for a beautiful finish by Projector.
4) And for the man who has everything, this little book, designed by Monika of I Love It All, is perfect as you can personalise it with the "10 things I love about you"!

Sometimes it can be difficult to select the perfect gift and since it is the thought that counts, why not show how you feel with a few well-chosen words in an exquisite card?

1) This cute card has little envelopes, each containing a tiny card to write on, and is lovingly created by Lemon Drop Papers.
2) For an elegant look, this swirly "Love" card is just spot on, the impeccable calligraphy is by Sarah of Parrott Design Studio.

We hope you have enjoyed Valentine shopping with us!  LouLou & Will x
